Simon Says
Goals: to listen; to follow commands
|
- Ask all the students to stand up. Tell them that they are to act out
everything that Simon says to do. They are not to act out any command
given that is not preceded by "Simon says."
- Simon, the person giving the commands, will say such things as
"Simon says take two steps forward," "Simon says clap
your hands three times," "Simon says act like a cat,"
"Simon says wave to a friend," and so on.
- Whenever a student carries out a command that is not preceded by
"Simon says," that student is eliminated and must sit down.
- The remaining students continue until only one, the winner, is left
standing.
