Installing the Focus on Grammar CD-ROMs on Windows 2000

To install and run the FOG CD-ROMs on Windows 2000, the user logged on to the computer must have local "Power User" or "Administrator" permissions.

To set permissions on Windows 2000:

  1. Log on to the computer with a local Administrator account.

  2. Go to "Administrative Tools" (found in the Control Panel).

  3. Access the Computer Management console.

  4. Expand "Local Users and Groups."

  5. Click on the "Users" folder and double click on the user account (the person that needs to install and run the Focus on Grammar CD-ROM).

  6. Click on the "Member Of" tab.

  7. Click on "Add" and select "Power Users" or "Administrators."

  8. Reboot and install the FOG CD-ROM.
